Chiefs run wild on Seahawks
What is going on over there at Seahawks headquarters that the Kansas City Chiefs and their power running game can come into Qwest Field and stomp them out. This game was a big let down for the team and fans. I was expecting a good game and a good out come but I end up getting a ugly result on both sides of the ball. Yes Mike Williams was out with a foot sprain but that doesn't mean the passing game should be off. Yes Matt had another decent game with 250 plus yards and 2 touchdowns and 2 picks but gosh dang it he is doing what he can with who is out there. Once again Pete decides to piss away 3 points on the first possession at the goal line with a 4th down pass in the end zone, agressive move yes maybe too agressive. This team at one point in the season looked ready to take the lead in the division but now it has looked like they have taken a few steps back to regroup and gain some new confidence. Everything starts with coaching and maybe Pete needs to look at the game tapes and figure out what he is doing wrong. The defense was getting pummeled in every direction on the field weather it be the passing or running game. At one point of the season the defense was the strength of the team, now it is one of the weakness that needs to fixed and once again it starts with coaching either its Pete or Gus Bradley needs to take control and fix this problem. The Seahawks running game was by far the biggest disappoint other than the defense. What are the Hawks doing with this running game. How do they only manage 20 yards on 12 attemps? This kind of running numbers worries me about this team. I have no clue on how to get a quick fix for the running game but as of right now the Hawks will not have a running game for the rest of the season as I see it. They have moved away from running and have gone to a all out passing game. The defense that was play yesterday was horrordous and embrassing. Jamaal Charles ran over, around and through all the Hawks defense for 173 yards on 22 attemps. Matt Cassel 22-32 for 233 yards and 4 touchdowns. Dwayne Bowe 13 catches for 170 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Chiefs are a good team and they came in ready to put a beat down on the Hawks and that is excatly what they did at Qwest. The Hawks have 3 of the next 5 at home there are some games that needs to be won at home or they can forget about making it to the playoffs. As of right now St. Louis has grab the lead for the NFC West. The Carolina Panthers come in on Sunday with a 1-10 and 0-5 on the road, this should be a winnable game. If they think this is a easy game the Hawks mind as well pack up and go on vacation and refund their fans their money. I still believe we can make the playoffs but this is the last straw that will break the camels back if they lose to the Panthers. The numbers don't lie Pete, Jeremy Bates and Gus Bradley get this team on the right track before you start losing the support of the fans.

Brees has a field day with Hawks Secondary
The New Orleans Saints is a all out passing team with great height with their wide receivers. The Saints use the passing game to set up the run game because they don't have a every down back. It was a site to see with the Hawks corners going up against Robert Meachem, Lance Moore and Marques Colston all standing 6'4" and above going up against 5'11" corners. Seattle secondary has always been small in size and that has been their biggest weakness on defense because the other teams continue to pick on Kelly Jennings and Marcus Trufant. There was countless times that Brees would throw the ball up and one of the tall receivers would go up and grab it. Now to the Hawks credit they didn't give up, they all continued to compete and give it their best. Matt had another good passing game and pretty much carried the offense with Mike Williams and the receivers getting the most attention. I'm disappointed in the run game right now because it is not doing what its suppose to do. Also the offensive line looks good with Russell Okung back at left tackle and they kept Matt up right for most of the game. It was good to see that Matt is playing well with that wrist injury and not making dumb decision with the ball. Once again Earl Thomas Jr. comes up with a interception that makes it 5 for the year. All in all this game would have been a tough one from the get go. New Orleans needed this to keep pace with Atlanta in the division and wild card spot. Every team in the NFC West lost on Sunday so the Hawks still have the lead on the division. Now this coming Sunday they have the Kansas City Chiefs coming to Qwest and they need to win this game for the fact that it's a home game and the same applies to the week after when Carolina Panthers come in. But they need to focus this week on the Chiefs and how to stop their run game with Thomas Jones and Jamaal Charles. Let's go Hawks bring it home.

Crown Him- Here comes the KING
For once the Baseball Writers of America Associations got the Cy Young right. The voters finally see that wins and losses doesn't matter when it comes to a individual award. Felix Hernandez played on a crappy Seattle Mariners team that lost 101 games, but his performance on the mound every five days was something the voters could not over look. He either was 1st or second in all major league pitching catagories this year. Yes he only has 13 wins but his ERA, innings pitch and strikeouts were out of this world for a guy playing on a losing team. People can argue all they want about David Price and C.C. Sabithia getting robbed but those two guys are playing on teams that are going to make the post season every year and both of their teams has great pitching rotation. The Seattle Mariners don't have much of a rotation all they have is King Felix. The Mariners offense was so horrible that Felix had to pitch great games with a one or two run lead and make it work to a victory, now that's is dominate pitching for you. Way to go King Felix Herandez keep it up and continue to bring home the awards that you deserves. Dave Niehaus is probably singing a tune for you and is looking down on you Felix.

Michael Vick is back to being himself on the Field
Records are meant to be broken and replace by others and that is exactly what Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles did on Monday against the Washington Redskins. The Redskins defense had no answer on how to stop Andy Reid's play calling. The first play of the game Vick's bombs a 88 yards pass to Desean Jackson for a touchdown and it starts a series of scores from there on. By the end of the first quarter it was 28-0 and after that the vleeding didn't stop.Vick completed his first 10 passes in the first quarter and was unstoppable. He ended the game with 20-28 for 333 yards passing and 80 yards rushing. He passed Steve Young for second place behind Randall Cunningham for most quarterback rushing yards. Vick in this season has not thrown a interception all year and has the hightest rated quarterback rating in the league. He is back to his old self you can say by the way he is moving and finding the open targets. Defense has to account and game plan around this guy because he will kill the defense on a given play. Even when the Redskins tried to put a spy on Vick it still didn't work because he was to elusive for the spy. His legs is dangerous but his arm and accuracy is what makes him special right now. During his time in Atlanta he would run every time he got pressued, now he takes the time to go through his reads and makes the correct pass or takes off and get yards with his legs. Vick is the third person to have 300 yards plus, 4 touchdown passes and 2 rushing touchdowns in NFL history. This season has been really good for a guy that hasn't played a full season in a long time. Vick has done what is asked of him since the dog killings and he is taking everything in stride. Way to go Michael. Keep it up man. And thanks for being there for me in my fastany league. Big props to the Philly front office to sign and put Vick in the drivers seat this season.

Great Win Over Arizona
What a great game Matt Hasselbeck had yesterday over the Arizona Cardinals. This is after missing last weeks game versus the New York Giants due to a minor head injury. Nobody can predict that number 8 will go 22-34 for 333 yards and 1 touchdown and 0 interception for the game. For the first time since 2005 the Seahawks swept the two games they have played. The Hawks defense was outstanding yesterday with holding the Cardinals on third downs forcing them to go 2-11 and then 0-2 on fourth downs. Chris Clemons and company made life really hard on Derek Anderson in the pocket. everybody on defense did their job. Thank you Mike Williams for showing up and giving his all. Williams had 11 catches for 145 yards, only thing missing is a touchdown or two but Williams played a awesome game. The running game did their part and got it going with Lynch and Foresett gashing through the defensive line and getting positive yards.Overall there was minimal mistakes that was made yesterday. My only grip is that Pete Carrol decided to go for it at the goal line and Matt hurts his non throwing hand and to start the third quarter Whitehurst comes in and throws a pick. Matt has proved time and time again that he is the best option at the quarterback spot until the Hawks find his replacement. The Hawks are 3-1 in division play and can take the NFC West with wins over the 49ners and St. Louis Rams. They play really tough teams to close out the season starting with going to New Orleans and playing the Saints. After the Saints they play Kansas City, Carolina, Atlanta, San Francisco, Tampa Bay and St. Louis. It is really important that they get focused and close out the games to remain atop of the division. The Hawks have a two game lead over everybody else in the division. So in ending lets go to New Orleans and get a key win and show the league the Hawks will be a team to wreck with win the playoffs start. I'm all in.

R.I.P. Dave Niehaus
Thank you for all the great memories you have bought to me Mr. Dave Niehaus. Baseball will never be the same again for us in the city of Seattle. It will be very tough to listen to somebody else calling the game on radio broadcast. You will be missed sorely from the whole city. Today we lost the greatest announcer to ever call a game in baseball. This is one of the best memories I have of Mr. Niehaus calling a game the 1995 ALDS versus the New York Yankees:
"Right now, the Mariners looking for the tie. They would take a fly ball, they would love a base hit into the gap and they could win it with Junior's speed. The stretch ... and the 0-1 pitch on the way to Edgar Martinez, swung on and LINED DOWN THE LEFT-FIELD LINE FOR A BASE HIT! HERE COMES JOEY, HERE IS JUNIOR TO THIRD BASE, THEY'RE GOING TO WAVE HIM IN! THE THROW TO THE PLATE WILL BE ... LATE! THE MARINERS ARE GOING TO PLAY FOR THE AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP! I DON'T BELIEVE IT! IT JUST CONTINUES! MY OH MY!"
May you, Mr. Niehaus brings us the M's fan and organization a World Series from the Heavens above us.

Dallas Cowboys
This has been a long time coming for this team to fire Wade Phillips, so many problems that needs to be resolve and Jerry Jones knows its starts with the head coach. The Cowboys are currently 1-7 and is in dead last in the division. This team had high expectations coming into this season but all was lost when they went 1-2 thru three games and then losing five straight with the last two games being by major blow outs. Yeah the injury lost of Tony Romo hurt them badly but it is no excuse to be losing like how they lost. This is the right move by Jerry Jones to fire Wade at the mid way point of the season and let Jason Garrett take over. I'm not a Dallas fan but everybody knew that this was coming. Also every Sunday people on ESPN, Sunday Night Football, CBS and Fox continue to hound the living crap about Phillips head being chopped of and today it finally happen. This team could be good if they had the mental capacity to pull it together and compete but all was lost when Romo broke his collar bone. The Cowboys have former Seahawks and Bengals quarterback Jon Kitna as their starter now and it will be a very long eight games for this team. In the second half of the season they play teams that will be in the playoff hunt so the margin of victory is very slim. This team is looking to finish second to the Buffalo Bills who are in dead last in the league without a win. This kind of start for Dallas is unusual but this team and organization will eventually bounce back and be good again.

Just Keep the Losses coming.
From the start of the game I knew this was going to be a horrible game by the shithawks. The New York Giants came into Qwest Field and absolutely took a fat shit on the Hawks. I have now lost all hope for this season. There is no chance this team gets to the playoffs even if they do get to the playoff they will be bounce from the playoff in a quick way. I turned the game off at halftime when it was 35-0. What a disappoint the last three weeks it has been rooting for this team to get a win. Like I said all is lost when it comes to winning the division and getting into the playoffs. Like Jim Mora said about the Colts "Playoffs, what playoffs?". At the end of the first quarter the Giants had 160 yards total to Shithawks 16 yards. Three three and outs, penalties, third down defense was horrible, this team is a total fucking mess. I might just have to stop watching them for a week or two. I will live and die a Seahawks fan but not when they are just going to roll over and take it up the ass like they have been doing the last three games. The numbers don't lie this is a really bad team with or without Matt Hasselbeck. Charlie Whitehurst is now the future of this team and this is who Seattle fans better get use to seeing back there. As I am writing this the current score in the fourth quarter is 41-7 so this have mean that the shithawks have been outscored 74-10 in the last two games. This team is a embarrassment to its beloved fan base that goes to and watches the game from home. Everybody played like shit today and it showed. It's a dam shame that we the people have to suffering once again through a season that once had promise now just a season of well lets just hope this team doesn't get ass fucked again. Next week this team is in Arizona a place where they haven't done shit in a long time. This might be a good place to get a win but I really doubt that with how this team has played the last three games including today debacle.

Missing in Seattle are the Sonics
I will never forgive Howard Schultz, David Stern and Clay Bennett for taking my beloved Seattle SuperSonics away from the people and city of Seattle. David Stern you need to step down as commissioner of the NBA and let somebody else take control. Forty-one years of Seattle basketball was gone in a flash. Seattle was once known as one of the top 5 difficult places to play in the league. From first players that became household names in old school players Lenny Wilkins, Slick Watts, Jack Sikma, Fred Brown, Gus Williams, Dennis Johnson to the new modern players like Gary Payton, Shawn Kemp, Sam Perkins, Michael Cage, Steve Scheffler, Detlef Schempf, Dale Ellis, Hersey Hawkins, Nate McMillan, and Ray Allen these are the players that help put Seattle pro basketball one the map. Wait one player to add to this list the youngster of them all Kevin Durant. I known once this kid put his name in the draft that he is going to be a special player coming out of the University of Texas. I had the privilege to watch Durant play in his rookie season before the team was uprooted to Oklahoma City and I must say his is a one of a kind player that will be a franchise changer and look at what he has done. Rookie of the year, 2009-2010 scoring champion at 30 points per game, getting the OKC Thunder to the playoffs versus the best team in the West and losing in game seven. With the SuperSonics gone the Key Arena is now filled with concerts instead of NBA basketball. The city could use the revenues that was once generated by having a pro team here right now. If the team was still here people would be rooting for them to get back to the playoffs like the old days of the Glove and Reign Man. Dam I missing having the SuperSoincs around. Since the team has left the state, Washington is still producing top notch high school and college players. Seattle is a hotbed for college recruiters that is looking for talent. Currently right now there is fourteen players in the NBA that is from the state of Washington. So what does that number tell you? It tells me that the city wants its team back because there is talent that runs deep in this state. Players currently on NBA rosters are Brandon Roy Portland, Nate Robinson and Avery Bradley Boston, Jason Terry Dallas, Jamal Crawford and Marvin Williams Atlanta, Jon Brockman Milwaukee, Aaron Brooks Houston, Terrance Williams New Jersey, Luke Ridnour and Martell Webster Minnesota, Spencer Hawes Philadelphia, Rodney Stuckey Detroit and Brian Scalabrine Chicago. The people will continue to find ways to bring back the NBA to Seattle.
Randy Moss has lost his dam mind.
Hey Randy you had a great chance to make a impact with a hall a fame quarterback in Brett Favre, but you end up eating your own shit. Don't complain about food that is being catered to you. If you didn't like it then don't eat it but don't open your trap and put down the mom and pop joint that made the whole damn team food for the sorry ass Minnesota Vikings. You should be the last person to ever open your mouth you punk. Go back to being the same lame ass player you were when you were in Oakland. As a matter of fact just retire and stay the fuck out of the NFL. Tennessee Titans are giving you a third chance this year wonder what you have to say when some company cooks up some food for this fucker. Randy you were once great now you are just a Terell Owens wannabe. Stop crying you fucking punk you get paid millions to catch a fucking ball and you can't even do that.

Washington Sports gets Hammered
Washington sports team was out scored this weekend by 117-3. The sports team included in the monster ass kicking was the Washington Huskies ass kicking by the Stanford Cardinals 41-0, Washington State Cougars losing 42-0 to Arizona St Sun Devils, Seattle Seahawks 33-3 butt kicking by the Oakland Raiders and the Seattle Sounders playoff lost to the LA Galaxy 1-0. This was a truly bad sports week in the state of Washington.
